Mechanical Engineer - 2013 Indonesia Challenge Program
Role synopsis :
  • Mechanical engineering is vital to BP. We ensure safe and reliable plant operation, over the life of an asset in a cost effective manner. Preventing hydrocarbon releases, maximising equipment uptime and ensuring quality projects are delivered to schedule and budget.
  • Mechanical engineers support operations and projects around the world. They work in project teams with major contractors, ensuring the correct selection, specification and construction of mechanical equipment and systems, as part of building new facilities or modifying existing assets; or they work in asset teams within operations to develop and implement maintenance programmes, monitoring equipment performance and investigating operational difficulties.
Key accountabilities :
  • The Challenge Programme, our graduate development programme, gives you real responsibility and a great variety of work backed up with plenty of support. You’ll work individually and within teams and often represent BP and direct other parties doing work for us.
Requirements :
  • At minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputable university.
  • This position is intended for fresh graduates, candidates with less than 3 years experience is still eligible to apply. The candidate is expected to have:
    • Outstanding academic achievement provided with GPA records minimum 3,0
    • Strong knowledge of basic Strong leadership experience in organization activity
    • Strong analytical skill with problem solving attitude
    • Excellent communication skill in Bahasa Indonesia and English both oral and written
    • Good understanding of the importance of safety in operation
Financial Analyst - 2013 Indonesia Challenge Program - Jakarta
Role Synopsis :
  • As a Finance Challenger you will have the opportunity to work across the wide range of BP's business as part of a function at the heart of business decision-making and which leads BP's internal and external financial reporting.
  • You will utilize your skills to create and evaluate high quality information and bring your insights to improve business discussions, understand and communicate risks to business performance, and sustain the system of controls over financial reporting, all within the financial policy framework of BP.
Key Accountabilities :
  • As part of the Challenge Program, the incumbent is expected to explore different roles and projects to ensure achieving optimum self development.
Essential Education :
  • At minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting for the Challengers entering Accounting, Reporting and Control Department.
  • At minimum Bachelor Degree in either Finance, Economics, Business from reputable university for Challengers entering Commercial roles. General Engineering major graduates with interest in pursuing career in business are welcome to apply.
Desirable Criteria & Qualifications :
  • This position is intended for fresh graduates, candidates with less than 3 years experience is still eligible to apply.

Process/Process Safety Engineer – 2013 Indonesia Challenge Program - Jakarta
Role Synopsis :
  • Our Process Engineers play a vital role at all stages of our world-class projects and operations. They help set the strategy and their expertise informs the key technical decisions that contribute to the success of projects and operations. The Challenger will be able to enjoy a variety of career paths. You could lead the discipline study purely at the conceptual stage, apply emerging technologies, or become a key member of our production teams.
Key Accountabilities :
  • As part of the Challenge Program, the incumbent is expected to explore different roles and projects to ensure achieving optimum self development.
Essential Education :
  • At minimum Bachelor Degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from reputable university
Desirable Criteria & Qualifications :
  • This position is intended for fresh graduates, candidates with less than 3 years experience is still eligible to apply.
The candidate is expected to have:
  • Outstanding academic achievement provided with GPA records minimum 3,0
  • Strong leadership experience in organization activity
