General Assembly Supervisor
Responsibilities
- Reporting to Shift Leader General Assembly Shop, this challenging position will be responsibleto direct and coordinate manufacturing activities in General Assembly Shop Production. The incumbent has responsibility to successfully plan, coordinate and implement production decision, supervise team members and team leaders in a safe work environment. Train team members to build the highest quality unit and maintain a pro-active work environment.
- Minimum Diploma Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
- Having experience in automotive industries with minimum 3 years of experience in General Assembly in Supervisor Level
- Have Engineering skill of production with General Assembly Shop
- Have knowledge of Production System implementation and application
- Have knowledge of quality control process/ manufacturing process and management system that relate to productions operations
- Language : Proficiency in local language along with English- written, spoken and comprehension is important
- Have a high understanding of safety procedures in the workplace General Assembly Shop
- Ability to manage and direct the continues improvement activities
- Must have an analytical approach to problem solving, Empower team members to perform and monitor work, Strong Leadership and Mature, Able to work under pressure and overtime
Responsibilities :
- Data entry/ posting local to the SAP
- Matching all invoices with related documents such as tax, PO, Delivery Slip/ Receiving
- Prepare document to support payment proposal
- Handle complaints from vendor and solve the problem
- Make Urgent payment request if needed
- Check & solve "exception" in payment proposal
- Make Accural JV for invoice not yet posted
- Download Allies' AR Statement from Sharepoint
- Download AP Aging from SAP
- Review all balance of accounts payable per supplier
- Minimum Bachelor (S1) degree majoring in Accounting
- Understand of accounting & concepts
- Has knowledge about AP and SAP program
- Adequate oral & written communication and presentation skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- High level of oral and written communication skills in English
- Demonstrated knowledge of purchasing procedures and policies.
- Experience in purchasing preferably in the automotive industry.
- Minimum 2 years experience with technical product purchases preferred.
- Sourcing & Costing knowledge
- Strong personal computer skills – Windows, Excel. ect.
- Negotiation / Persuasive Skills
Requirements:
- Strong Computer literacy including Microsoft Project, AutoCAD advantageous
- Previous supervisory experiences and work in team environment
- Can communicate and deal effectively with people at all different levels
- Manages the material flow process through banks, buffers, min-max control process including visual inventory controls.
- Be able to perform all strategic thinking of material flow perspective and teach.
- Know FIFO concept, including smooth Sequencing and Orderly pick parts supply system control
- 3 – 5 years related work experiences in Store / Material Handling and Parts supply to line side with JIT/Lean and FIFO concept, including smooth Sequencing and Orderly pick parts supply system.
- Involve and do CIP for line-side material presentation manufacturing and supply team.
- Work with packaging engineer /specialist to approve /change on packaging in order to optimize material flow through the entire processes with low cost
